Beth and I wanted to go somewhere for my birthday where we could see and swim in "blue" water. With airfare being so expensive these days, jumping on a plane to Mexico or Jamaica wasn't in the cards this year. So we came up with the idea of trailering our bike to Mommom Ruth's house in Deland, FL and then riding the bike down to Key West. We had an awesome time. We got to visit the Manatee refuge in the Blue Springs State Park, Cape Canaveral, camp at two different KOA parks (Lion Country Safari near West Palm and Sugarloaf Key), snorkel in Key West, meet a lot of nice people, ride our motorcycle, spend time with Mommom, Aunt Mary, Uncle Wade, and Cousin Kevin, and above all spend time with each other.
